Henry Jacques unveils final chapter of collection De L'atelier Rose Trio

Three fragrances crafted from rare HJ Rose De Mai extract sourced from the Maison’s own harvest Collection de l’Atelier 2025 edition launch

Henry Jacques is proud to present the third edition of its exclusive Collection de l’Atelier, three fragrances composed from its very own rose harvest in the South of France. Housed in a dedicated Boîte à Parfum chest and limited to just 500 examples, this is the final time the Maison’s HJ Rose de Mai extract will be offered as a curated trio.

At the dawn of its first harvest in 2023, Henry Jacques encountered a rose unlike any other. One so extraordinary it made the Maison question the very essence of the flower itself. This discovery drove the master perfumers to create multiple compositions, as a painter would explore endless shapes, forms, and eventually, pieces of art. From this, a collection was born, Collection de l’Atelier, named in honour of an artist's home of creativity.

Yet the story began long before. It took Henry Jacques five years to nurture an ecosystem that would allow its Rose de Mai to flourish. Guided by a family of flower growers, never compromising on nature or its values, Henry Jacques pushed creativity to its limits, relying on age old traditions to care for the land, gently ploughing and aerating the soil, improving water circulation, favouring ladybirds over pesticides. The first harvest, and the two that followed, done entirely by hand, exceeded expectations: each year, tons of sublime roses, each year, more olfactively distinct.

Celebrating the rarity of HJ’s Rose de Mai, the limited-edition trio of fragrances is presented in hand-crafted chests. Each is an interpretation of a lifetime of savoir-faire and a glimpse into the creative world of Henry Jacques. Conceived as an ode to the fleeting moment, Collection de l’Atelier 2025 is limited to 500 pieces, destined to be enjoyed, shared, collected, preserved - and never again reissued.

The boldest edition of all completes the celebratiON OF HJ Rose de Mai

The 2025 Rose de Mai Absolute reveals itself in all its depth in this boldest edition yet of Collection de l’Atelier. Floral but less powdery than its predecessors, rounder, with chestnut honey notes that lend it an almost leathery depth. Warm, spicy hints, such as cinnamon and saffron, also appear subtly in the background. This surprising absolute unveiled new visions for Henry Jacques, and a striking trio came to life: audacious, infused with spices, character, depth, and softness.

Rose Azafira is gentle yet full of character.

It tells the story of an unexpected union: that of HJ Rose de Mai absolute with saffron. A delicate, floral, almost fruity, and spicy combination. Saffron, often paired with oudh and leathery notes, here elevates Damascena rose and Rose de Mai with a whisper of patchouli spiced with pepper. Iris adds a touch of sophistication before allowing the fragrance to unfold into a subtle, silky caress of sandalwood and amber. A contraction of Zahra (flowers) and Zafra (saffron), Rose Azafira is gentle, yet full of character.

Rose Très Rose 2025 is an ode to the complex beauty of the rose.

The fragrance opens with a floral dance where HJ’s Rose de Mai, Damascena rose, and jasmine intertwine, accentuated by the subtle freshness of violet leaves. Iris, patchouli, and benzoin bring majesty, warmth, and softness to the composition, while highlighting the spicy facets of the HJ Rose de Mai absolute 2025. Finally, the leathery nuances of chestnut honey in the absolute blend and magnify within the Cuvée Dehen el Oudh, giving the fragrance a harmonious depth.

Rose Alambrah is radiant and enveloping.

Rose Alambrah is a sensory stroll, opening with fresh, almost green neroli, lifted by a hint of mandarin bitterness, evoking orange tree paths dappled with sunlight. Citrusy and floral notes of bergamot, paired with Turkish rose, drape the fragrance in a veil of brightness. Spicy, leathery accents of resinous labdanum, cinnamon leaf, and vetiver bring a gentle ambery warmth. Finally, sandalwood, vanilla, and benzoin wrap the composition, giving the fragrance a reassuring depth, like the cool shade of a gallery or the blue of the sea under a zenith sun.

The 2025 edition once again presents a trio of Les Essences, the most iconic and most concentrated Henry Jacques perfume form, paying tribute to the Maison’s legacy and offered in the generous 30ml size.
