THE TREND. "Blush blindness" started as a joke about people who can't tell when they've applied too much blush. It became a movement: bold, draped, unapologetic cheek color that goes far beyond the apples. Feeds are full of it. Runways are full of it. At Benefit, we've been blush-blind since 1976.
RAGHAD'S TAKE: There's no such thing as too much blush! Blush blindness isn't one texture, it's two. The dewy one and the airy one, worn alone or stacked on top of each other. Meet the duo: Juice Stick Dewy Gel-Cream Blush and Play Daze Airy Liquid Blush.
THE TWO TEXTURES
Juice Stick — the dewy one. A hydrating gel-cream in a twist-up stick that glides on with an instant cooling sensation and blends into a juicy, fresh-squeezed glow. Formulated with goji berry seed oil, water-resistant, sweatproof and humidity-proof. Five shades: Shellie (warm seashell-pink), Crystah (strawberry pink), Figgie (cool purple-pink), Foxxy (golden brick-red) and Jam (rich berry).
Play Daze — the airy one. A liquid-to-air formula that goes on velvety-light and sets to a diffused, soft-matte finish. Microsphere powders blur as you blend for a caught-in-the-clouds effect, and it's waterproof and long-wearing. Five shades: Apricotta (warm apricot), Willa (soft neutral-rose), Starlaa (rosy bronze), Chili (coral-orange) and Berri (blackberry).
THE FIVE RULES OF BLUSH BLINDNESS
- Go higher than you think. Start at the apples and sweep up toward the temples. Blush placed high lifts the whole face
- Build in layers. Two light sweeps blend better than one heavy one. All three formulas are buildable for a reason.
- Pick a mood, not a rule. Neutral rose for everyday, strawberry pink for doll-like, berry for after dark.
- Stack your textures. Dewy Juice Stick underneath, airy Play Daze on top, a whisper of Silky-Soft Powder Blush to set. Then add Tickle on the highest point.
- When you think it's too much, add a little more. That's the trend. Trust us.
SHADE BY MOOD

THE PLACEMENT MAP
Cheeks: from the apples, up and back toward the temples.
Nose: a light dusting of powder across the bridge for a sun-flushed look.
Eyes: a soft wash of Play Daze on the lids to tie the whole face together.
Cream underneath: glide Juice Stick onto the apples and blend up toward the temples with fingertips before any powder goes on.
