
Award-Winning Japanese Skincare Brand Tatcha Launches in the Middle East

Tatcha, the Japanese skincare brand beloved by beauty fans in the US and Asia, is pleased to announce its long-awaited launch in the Middle East. Beginning April 15th, 2022, the California and Japan-based brand will be available locally for consumers in Sephora Middle East, launching in stores and online in the UAE on April 15th and then rolling out regionally from May 25th.
Vicky Tsai founded the brand in 2009 after a life-changing trip to Kyoto, where she encountered a philosophy of care that helped her rediscover love for her skin and herself. A decade of working in the corporate world had left her disillusioned, and suffering from dermatitis that required daily steroids and antibiotics. Through timeless rituals rooted in effective yet gentle Japanese ingredients, her skin and her life regained balance. The Tatcha Institute, the brand’s R&D center, was founded in Tokyo shortly thereafter, harnessing Japan’s excellent technologies and raw materials to create innovative, sensorial well-being rituals for the modern consumer.
